Pets of the Week

The Standard Journal - - LOCAL -

This week’s Pets of the Week include a cat and dog who are both full grown and looking for a chance to cuddle with a new owner.

The Cat of the Week - Winston - is a young adult around a year old, and appears to have already been neutered (a vet will need to verify this, accord- ing to volunteers with the Cedartown Humane Society.) Volunteers say he’s already friendly and affectionate and enjoys a good stroke down the back or a scratch behind the ears. Winston can be found as ID # 294821198.

The Dog of the Week is Hank, a juvenile between 8 months and a year old and already weighing in at 50 pounds. Volunteers report he’s friendly, walks on a leash and already knows a couple of commands. Per his previous owner, Hank enjoys playing ball with old friends and strangers alike. Those interested in Hank can take him home today for standard adoption rates from Polk County Animal Control. Look for him as ID # 29355707.
