The following people were booked into the Polk County Jail between September 4 and September 11, 2015. Those listed below remained in jail as of Friday, September 11, 2015:

Pedra Vail Baten, 23, of 526 Pine Street, Cedartown, was arrested on September 4 by the Georgia State Patrol on charges of failure to appear for a felony fingerprin­table charge, DUI – driving under the influence of alcohol, giving a false name, address or birthdate to a law enforcemen­t officer, obstructio­n of law enforcemen­t officer when engaged in official duty, misdemeano­r driving without a valid license, failure to maintain lane, impeding traffic flow and improper slowing or stopping on the road way.

Kevin Blake Rampley, 18, of 625 Hill Side Drive, Cedartown, was jailed on September 6 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of crossing guardline with drugs, possession of methamphet­amine and aggravated stalking.

Jeffery Ray Timms, 38, of 363 Mountain Home Road, Apartment 5, Cedartown, was taken into custody on September 7 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of theft of services and theft by receiving party to a crime.

Dana Michele Woody, 39, of 367 Mountain Home Road, Cedartown, was arrested on September 7 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of theft by receiving party to a crime and theft of services.

Jonathon William York, 27, of 629 Hill Side Drive, Cedartown, was jailed on September 7 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of burglary and theft by receiving party to a crime.

Chadwick Lee Owens, 26, of 87 Oak Street, Aragon, was taken into custody on September 8 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, possession of methamphet­amine, distributi­on of controlled substances and possession and use of drug related objects.

Joseph Passeri, 33, of 3253 Cedartown Highway, Rockmart, was jailed on September 8 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of obstructio­n of an officer, harassing phone calls, sentenced – Rockmart Intertech and two counts of Family Violent Act (FVA) aggravated stalking.

of 925 Brewsterfi­eld Road, Cedartown, was arrested on September 9 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of hit and run, theft by receiving stolen property and theft by taking.

Jermaine Courtney Brown, 25, of 357 Woodall Road, Cedartown, was taken into custody on September 9 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of cocaine, and bond drop.

Herbert Mark Cody, 52, of 634 Georgia Avenue, Lot 316, Cedartown, was arrested on September 9 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of aggravated assault and influencin­g a witness.

Rodrick Shayne Turner, 52, of Route 1, Box 112A, Delbarton, W.V., was taken into custody on September 9 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of failure to register and failure to appear.

Joshua Shane Waddell, 38, of 764 North College Drive, Cedartown, was jailed on September 9 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of FVA terroristi­c threats and acts, FVA criminal trespass and hold Floyd County.

Jeffery Eddie Goddard, 45, of 709 Atlanta Highway, Apartment C, Rockmart, was arrested on September 10 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of first degree forgery and felony second degree forgery.

The following people were booked and later released from the Polk County Jail:

Zachary Taylor Hardy, 18, of 9 Breckenrid­ge Drive, Cedartown, was taken into custody on September 4 by the Georgia State Patrol on charges of reckless driving, failure to drive within a single lane, driving on the wrong side of the road and passing within 200 feet of oncoming traffic.

Jeffery Clemons, 39, of 180 Long Station Road, Aragon, was jailed on September 5 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of safety belt violation, driving while license suspended or revoked and tags: use of to conceal identity.

Kori Lashay Holland, 23, of 25 Gilreath Road, NW, Apartment 13, Cartersvil­le, was arrested on September 6 by the Georgia State Patrol on charges of speeding and driving while license suspended or revoked.

Delfino Tomas Ramirez, 24, of 805 Blanche Avenue, Cedartown, was jailed on September 6 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of cruelty to children in the third degree and battery.

Joshua Allan Myers, 31, of 33 Greenwood Drive, Cartersvil­le, was taken into custody on September 7 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of FVA interferin­g with E-911 call, FVA simple battery and FVA battery.

Bruce Lee Nation, 30, of 306 2nd Street, Rockmart, was arrested on September 7 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of open container violation, running a red light and DUI – refusal.

Trent Veston Martin, 35, of 4098 Highway 27 North, Carrollton, was taken into custody on September 8 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of failure to maintain lane and DUI – combo of any combinatio­n of A1/A2/A3.

Darius Mackenzie McCoy, 22, of 431 Coaling Road, Cedartown, was jailed on September 8 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of speeding, no insurance and suspended license.

George Thomas Ashworth, 41, of 406 Herbert Street, Cedartown, was arrested on September 8 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of driving on a suspended license, possession of drug related objects and defective equipment (brake lights).

Daniel Allen Christie, 26, of 2357 Buchanan Highway, Cedartown, was jailed on September 9 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of driving while license suspended or revoked and passing a school bus that is unloading.

Trendarius Ector, 19, of 542 Pine Street, Cedartown, was arrested on September 9 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Felipe Amaya Contreras, 37, of 1035 Franklin Road, Marietta, was taken into custody on September 11 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of speeding and driving while unlicensed.

John Eric Gandy, 41, of 2668 Cedartown Highway, Rockmart, was arrested on September 11 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of speeding and suspended license.
