RCAC plans holiday show

Have you been looking for a chance to sell handmade art and other unique craft items for the holidays? Here is your chance:

Rockmart Cultural Arts Center is seeking Visual Artists (18 years or older) for the annual Holiday Gift Shop. Any medium No entrance fee!* Handcrafted jewelry, pottery, turned or carved wood, gourds, paintings, walking sticks, note cards, photography, mixed media, sculptures, drawings, decorative art or other pieces of art for sale. The artist must create the art.

* The gallery collects a fee of 20% on all sales. Artists will be issued checks after the show has closed. Important Dates October 2: Email photos of items you wish to sell with a description and price list to rcac@ rockmart-ga.gov. List “HGS” in the subject line of the email followed by your name.

October 17: Deliver items (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.)

October 18: Deliver items (1 - 3 p.m.)

October 23: Opening of “Holiday Gift Shop”

November

14: Afternoon reception and photos with Santa (1 to - 3 p.m.)

December 19: Shop closes at 4 p.m.

December 18: Saturday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) - inventory and pick up crafts

December 19 Sunday (1 - 3 p.m.) - inventory and pick up crafts
