Aragon calls special meeting for paving project
The Aragon City Council will be gathering in a special called meeting on Thursday to approve a paving project for the city not covered in regular business last week.
Mayor Ken Suffridge called for the session to approve the re-paving and extension of city hall’s parking lot, which will require the movement of the sign in front of the city hall building.
The council will be gathering at city hall to discuss the project and its costs at 7:30 p.m.
“This project should be expedited to coincide with the County’s paving schedule, equipment and crew availability,” he said.
14 new spaces are expected to be added at a cost of at least $4,000.
