Mr. Larry Gene Mull, age 65, of Cedartown, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 11, 2015.
He was born in Polk County on May 13, 1950, a son of the late Roscoe Eugene Mull and the late Virginia Beatrice Mull Powell.
Mr. Mull was of Southern Baptist faith and belief. He served his country in the United States Air Force and later worked as a carpenter and mechanic.
Mr. Mull was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Eugene Mull and Virginia Beatrice Mull Powell.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Imogene Holland Mull; his daughters and sons in law, Jennifer Swift and her husband Steven and Heather Lemons and her husband Ronnie; three grandchildren, the loves of his life, also survive: Chloe Swift, Molli Lemons and Noah Lemons.
Mr. Mull is also survived by sisters and brothers and their spouses: Patricia Mull Gilley, Michelle Powell Watters (Mark), Timmy Mull (Rita) and Jimmy Mull (Carolyn); Mr. Mull is also survived by his chosen step father, John Barney Powell; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept, 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Kermit Pruitt and Rev. Danny Dunn officiating.
Interment followed in the Valley View Baptist Church Cemetery with Brown-Wright Post #12 of the American Legion in charge of military graveside rites.
Pallbearers included: Mark Watters, Breton Watters, Aryn Watters, Joel Guthrie, Eric Pike and Gerry Pike.
The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mr. Larry Gene Mull.
