Mr. Mull

Mr. Larry Gene Mull, age 65, of Cedartown, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 11, 2015.

He was born in Polk County on May 13, 1950, a son of the late Roscoe Eu­gene Mull and the late Vir­ginia Beatrice Mull Pow­ell.

Mr. Mull was of South­ern Bap­tist faith and belief. He served his coun­try in the United States Air Force and later worked as a car­pen­ter and me­chanic.

Mr. Mull was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents, Roscoe Eu­gene Mull and Vir­ginia Beatrice Mull Pow­ell.

Sur­vivors in­clude his lov­ing wife of 43 years, Imo­gene Hol­land Mull; his daugh­ters and sons in law, Jen­nifer Swift and her hus­band Steven and Heather Le­mons and her hus­band Ron­nie; three grand­chil­dren, the loves of his life, also sur­vive: Chloe Swift, Molli Le­mons and Noah Le­mons.

Mr. Mull is also sur­vived by sis­ters and broth­ers and their spouses: Pa­tri­cia Mull Gil­ley, Michelle Pow­ell Wat­ters (Mark), Timmy Mull (Rita) and Jimmy Mull (Carolyn); Mr. Mull is also sur­vived by his cho­sen step fa­ther, John Bar­ney Pow­ell; nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews also sur­vive.

Fu­neral ser­vices were held Sun­day, Sept, 13, 2015 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller and Son Fu­neral Home with Rev. Ker­mit Pruitt and Rev. Danny Dunn of­fi­ci­at­ing.

In­ter­ment fol­lowed in the Val­ley View Bap­tist Church Ceme­tery with Brown-Wright Post #12 of the Amer­i­can Le­gion in charge of mil­i­tary grave­side rites.

Pall­bear­ers in­cluded: Mark Wat­ters, Bre­ton Wat­ters, Aryn Wat­ters, Joel Guthrie, Eric Pike and Gerry Pike.

The Alvis Miller and Son Fu­neral Home was in charge of ar­range­ments for the fu­neral of Mr. Larry Gene Mull.
