The following people were booked into the Polk County Jail between October 30 and November 6, 2015:

Jeffery Edward Hodges, 28, of 1289 Dunn Road, Silver Creek, was arrested on October 30 by the Polk County Police Department on two felony charges of marijuana – purchase, possession, manufactur­e, distributi­on or sale, possession of firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, affixing materials that reduce or increase light transmissi­on/reflectanc­e of windows/windshield­s, 60 days to change address, and possession of tools for commission of a crime.

Christina Gail Hall, 25, of 624 Youngs Station Road, was arrested on October 30 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting police officer.

Shannon C. Cofer, 42, of South College Street, Cedartown, was arrested on October 30 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of possession of cocaine, possession of methamphet­amine, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, possession and use of drug related objects, and misdemeano­r bench warrant.

Michael W. Dempsey, 39, of 401 West Elm Street, Rockmart, was arrested on October 30 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked, suspended registrati­on, and no insurance.

Matthew Nathaniel Benefield, 32, of 242 John Ingram Road, Silver Creek, was arrested on October 30 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked, failure to stop at a stop sign, and driving on expired registrati­on.

Benjamin Hawk Lewis, 20, of 652 Cashtown Road, Aragon, was arrested on October 30 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and tire requiremen­ts.

William J. Caldwell, 38, of 2360 Bellview Road, Rockmart, was arrested on October 31 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked and misdemeano­r obstructio­n of law enforcemen­t officers.

Isaias Macario Ramirez, 27, of 685 Slusser Avenue, Cedartown, was arrested on October 31 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of misdemeano­r driving without a valid license and failure to obey traffic control device.

Perry Melvin Strickland, 60, homeless, Cedartown, was arrested on October 31 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of financial transactio­n card fraud, and misdemeano­r theft by receiving stolen property.

Daniel Clay Williams, 27, of 303 Hampton Street, Rockmart, was arrested on November 1 by the Georgia State Patrol on charges of misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked and failure to maintain lane.

Jonathan Colby Vaughn, 25, of 610 Valley Road, Cedartown, was arrested on November 2 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of no insurance, suspended tag, no brake lights, possession of methamphet­amine, methamphet­amine possession with intent, possession of firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, possession of firearm by convicted felon or first offender, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, and possession and use of drug related objects.

Erin Rose Brook Womack, 21, of 315 Fairview Avenue, Cedartown, was arrested on November 2 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of possession of methamphet­amine, methamphet­amine possession with intent, possession and use of drug related objects, possession of firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Ollie Morris, 36, of 130 Irwin Street, Cedartown, was arrested on November 2 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of aggravated assault.

Daniel Ronald Gamel, 40, of 704 Park Place Circle, Rockmart, was arrested on November 2 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked and failure to obey traffic control device.

Jared Lee Duke, 22, of 831 Jones Avenue, Rockmart, was arrested on November 3 by the Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcemen­t Section on charges of hunting without permission, hunting without big game license, and hunting without a license.

Barry Quinn Hamrick, 43, of 96 Friendly Baptist Church Road, Cedartown, was arrested on November 3 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of hunting without a license, hunting without a big game license, and hunting deer without fluorescen­t orange.

Lewis Shane Hogan, 42, of 311 Hunter Street, Rockmart, was arrested on November 3 by the Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcemen­t Section on charges of hunting without permission, hunting without a big game license, hunting deer without florescent orange, and hunting without a license.

Paula Nan Wood, 64, of 307 Hampton Road, Cedartown, was arrested on November 3 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of failure to maintain lane and DUI – less safe alcohol.

Jeremy Dwayne Johnson, 26, of 3677 Hembree Lane, Marietta, was arrested on November 4 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of Family Violent Act (FVA) aggravated assault, FVA aggravated battery and misdemeano­r bench warrant.

Benjamin Chalmas Hobbs, 29, of 2771 Rockmart Highway, Cedartown, was arrested on November 4 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of felony probate violation for fingerprin­table charge, two counts of misdemeano­r theft by receiving stolen property, misdemeano­r obstructio­n of law enforcemen­t officers, two misdemeano­r counts of driving while license suspended or revoked, two counts of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, aggravated assault, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving on wrong side of roadway and improper turn/ improper lane change.

Jason Eric Sanborn, 43, of 684 Goodyear Avenue, Rockmart, was arrested on November 4 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of possession of firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, possession of tools fore commission of a crime, possession of methamphet­amine, possession of hydrocodon­e, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, misdemeano­r drugs not in original container, and expired registrati­on.

Jason Tumlin, 43, of 206 Oak Street, Rockmart, was arrested on November 4 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of possession of tools for commission of a crime.

Brandon Lee Waddell, 25, of 116 North 2nd Street, Cedartown, was arrested on November 4 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of armed robbery, robbery, aggravated assault, parole violation, first degree felony burglary, and felony theft by taking.

Samantha Renae Waddell, 44 Folsom Road, Dallas, was arrested on November 4 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of party to a crime – first degree felony burglary.

Thomas Pate, 36, of 212 Railroad Street, Rockmart, was arrested on November 4 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of FVA aggravated assault, FVA kidnapping, two charges of third degree cruelty to children, FVA simple battery, first degree FVA cruelty to children, FVA simple battery and FVA criminal trespass.

Joshua Lee Proctor, 26, of 1023 Hutto Road, Cedartown, was arrested on November 5 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of financial transactio­n card fraud, and party to a crime – theft by receiving stolen property.

James Edward Lancaster, 44, of 712 Canal Court, Cedartown, was arrested on November 5 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of misdemeano­r theft by taking, and giving false name, address, or birthdate to law enforcemen­t officer.

Emmanuel Gomez Orgaz, 31, of 412 Cassville Road, Cartersvil­le, was arrested on November 6 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of driving without a valid license and headlight requiremen­ts.
