3 stolen Bent­leys found at Harts­field-Jackson air­port

AT­LANTA ( AP) — Po­lice say three Bent­leys stolen from a car deal­er­ship in sub­ur­ban At­lanta were found in a park­ing lot at Harts­field-Jackson At­lanta In­ter­na­tional Air­port.

Lo­cal news me­dia re­ports that the high-end ve­hi­cles were re­cov­ered Satur­day at the air­port.

Al­pharetta po­lice say the cars were stolen from Bent­ley At­lanta from Dec. 19-21. The cost of the cars and from around $200,000 to more than $300,000 apiece.

At­lanta po­lice says se­cu­rity at the air­port no­ticed one Bent­ley parked in one of the lots for about three days be­fore call­ing in­ves­ti­ga­tors. The other two were found by in­ves­ti­ga­tors in the same park­ing lot.

Ge­orge Gor­don of the Al­pharetta Depart­ment of Pub­lic Safety says stolen lux­ury cars are usu­ally dis­as­sem­bled, traded or moved to other coun­tries through the ports.
