Mr. Sadler

Mr. Joshua Levi Sadler, age 33, of Buchanan, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016.

He was born in Rome on Nov. 29, 1982, a son of Norman Sadler and Annette Swindall Sadler.

Mr. Sadler had lived all of his life in Polk County. He loved music, Virginia Tech Hokies football and he had a special love for his nephew, Rhett.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Benny Swindall, Peggy Sadler Robinson and Curtis Sadler.

Survivors include his parents, Norman and Annette Sadler, Buchanan; brother, Benjamin Ryan Sadler and his wife Abby, Bremen; nephew and niece, Rhett and River Kate Sadler; grandmother, Willene Swindall, Buchanan; aunts and uncles: Faye Hudgens, Harlan Swindall, Connie and Dennis Boyd, Peggy and Neal Cauthen, Joyce and Mark Hooper, June McBride and Ralph Curtis Sadler; a number of cousins whom he all loved also survive.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of the Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Gentry officiating.

The family received friends on Saturday, Jan. 30 prior to the service hour at the funeral home.

Cousins of Sadler served as honorary pallbearers.

The Alvis Miller and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Mr. Joshua Levi Sadler.
