Republican Party to Hold Mass Meetings and County Convention

On Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., the Polk County Republican Party will convene Precinct Mass Meetings to elect Delegates and Alternates to the Polk County Republican Party Convention at Cherokee County Club, 150 Club Drive, Cedartown, Georgia 30125. Registration will open at 8:00 a.m.

All Polk County residents who are legally registered to vote on or before February 1, 2016, and who believe in the principles of the Republican Party are urged to participate in the process.

The Polk County Republican Party Convention will convene at 10:00 a.m. on March 19, 2016, at the same location for the purpose of electing Delegates and Alternates to the Congressional District Convention, for the purpose of electing Delegates and Alternates to the State Convention and for the purpose of conducting all other business as necessary.

The 14th Congressional District Convention will convene at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at North Paulding High School, 300 North Paulding Drive, Dallas, Georgia 30132. The District Convention will convene for the purpose of electing 3 Delegates and 3 Alternates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, and for the purpose of conducting all other business as necessary.

The Georgia Republican Party State Convention will convene at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3, 2016, in Augusta, Georgia, for the purpose of electing At-Large Delegates and Alternates to the National Republican Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, for the purpose of electing the Georgia Republican Party National Committee Man and National Committee Woman and for the purpose of conducting all other business as necessary. Delegates and Alternates will be required to pay a fee, which is to cover the cost of the Convention.
