Cedartown’s Ham and Egg Day coming soon
Tickets are on sale now for the upcoming annual Cedartown Optimist Club’s Ham and Egg Day breakfast.
The breakfast is scheduled for March 19, 2016 and will be held at the Goodyear Civic Center.
Club spokesman Ronnie Dingler said the organization is looking forward to serving record numbers once again in the fundraiser to help provide money for local charities and youth.
He said the addition of more members to the organization will make it easier for ticket holders to be served in a timely manner.
I wanted to do more last year to streamline the operation, and I think it will be done this year,” Dingler said.
Tickets for the breakfast are $7.50 this year due to rising costs, according to Dingler, and can be purchased from any Optimist Club member.
“This is the first time in all of our years of serving this breakfast that we had to go up on the ticket cost,” Dingler said. “It will still be all you can eat when you eat it there.”
Dingler said despite changes this year, all the favorites will still be on hand.
“Again, it will be the best Ham you will ever put in your mouth cooked by Earl Knowles and the homemade biscuits re cooked from scratch by Mike McCrae and Rodney Saucier,” Dingler said.
