Cedartown Junior League follies coming up Feb. 26‐27
Cedartown’s Junior Service League is back with the 2016 Follies, this year with a focus on some Mardi Gras fun.
“”Mardi Gras Madness” is a song and dance variety show with New Orleans Mardi Gras as the background and local talent performance,” said Rachel Graves, who is heading up the performance as chairperson. “We wanted to go back and pay tribute to the traditional style of the Follies in the past.”
The celebration of kids, teens, and adults who volunteer their time to help the CJSL raise money for their charities that directly benefit our local com- munity, tickets are on sale now for the popular every 4 years event.
This year’s follies will be held on Feb. 26 and 27 at 7 p.m. at the Cedartown Performing Arts Center.
All donations, sponsorships, and ticket sales collected during this great, local event enable the CJSL to provide services to the children of Polk County.
“Over the next four years, these funds will assist in the fulfillment of our purpose: for our members to grow in Christian life by serving God, our community and our fellow man through general charity work with special emphasis on child welfare,” Graves said.
