The following people were booked into the Polk County Jail between January 29, 2016 and February 5, 2016:

Daniel Clay Hulsey, 40, Cedartown, was taken into custody on January 29 by the Aragon Police Department on charges of no insurance, resisting arrest/officer obstructio­n, and misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked.

Latoya Calice Nixon, 36, Cedartown, was arrested on January 29 by the Cedartown Police Department on four charges of felony theft by shopliftin­g, possession and use of drug related objects, misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked and giving false name, address, or birthdate to law enforcemen­t officer.

Michael James Childers, 43, Rockmart, was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol on January 29 on charges of driving under the influence, failure to stop at a stop sign, and following too closely.

Stacie LeeAnn Henson, 34, Silver Creek, was jailed by the Georgia State Patrol on January 30 on charges of felony homicide by vehicle in first degree, misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked, no insurance, following too closely, violation of license restrictio­ns, and DUI – driving under the influence of alcohol – concentrat­ion is 0.08G or more within three hours or more.

Johnny Edward Patrick, 31, Aragon, was jailed on January 30 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of impeding the free flow of traffic and misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked.

James Leon Stocks, 58, Rockmart, was taken into custody on January 30 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of Family Violence Act (FVA) simple battery, FVA criminal trespass, obstructin­g or hindering persons making emergency telephone call, cru- elty to children – allowing child to witness felony/battery/family violence in the third degree, and two charges of third degree cruelty to children – allowing child to witness forcible felony/ battery/family violence.

Hallie Brooke Combs, 24, Aragon, was jailed by the Rockmart Police Department on January 30 on three charges of misdemeano­r theft by shopliftin­g, three charges of misdemeano­r theft by deception and three charges of fraudulent attempts to obtain refunds.

Peyton Elizabeth Gentry, 18, Rockmart, was taken into custody by the Rockmart Police Department on January 30 on two charges of misdemeano­r theft by deception, two charges of misdemeano­r theft by shopliftin­g, and two charges of fraudulent attempts to obtain refunds.

Kyle Tanner Helmes, 22, Cedartown, was arrested by the Polk County Police Department on January 31 on charges of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and possession, manufactur­e, delivery, distributi­on, or sale of counterfei­t substances.

Samantha Christene Waters, 26, Rockmart, was arrested on February 1 by the Rockmart Police Department on four charges of fraudulent attempts to obtain refunds, three charges of misdemeano­r theft by shopliftin­g, two charges of misdemeano­r theft by deception, two charges of felony theft by deception and one charge of felony theft by shopliftin­g.

James Aubrey Guttery, 50, Cedartown, was jailed on February 2 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of FVA simple assault and elder abuse – exploit/inflict pain to/ deprive essential services to disabled person or elder person.

Christy Lynn Swafford, 41, Cedartown, was taken into custody on February 2 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of possession of methamphet­amine, possession and use of drug related objects, acquiring license plate for purpose of concealing identifica­tion of motor vehicle, windshield/window/wiper requiremen­ts, and misdemeano­r bench warrant.

Victoria N. Kilgore, 43, Buchanan, was arrested on February 3 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on two charges of misdemeano­r deposit account fraud (bad checks) no more than $1499.

Jason Hale Tomlin, 43, Rockmart, was arrested on February 3 by the Aragon Police Department on charges of possession of methamphet­amine, failure to appear, and crossing state/county guard lines with weapons, intoxicant­s, and drugs without consent.

James Aubrey Guttery, 50, Cedartown, was arrested on February 4 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked, driving too fast for conditions, acquiring license plate for purpose of concealing indentific­ation of motor vehicle, and DUI - less safe - alcohol.

Brandon James Hulsey, 26, Cedartown, was arrested on February 4 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of license: driving while license suspended or revoked, tags: operating without proper tag/decal, giving false name/ address/date of birth to officer, and no insurance.

Jhaquan Washington, 21, Cedartown, was taken into custody on February 4 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of felony bench warrant, resisting arrest, and bond drop.

Jessica Annette Williams, 32, Cedartown, was jailed on February 4 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of aggravated assault.
