Just a few days into her new position, Allen said she’s already fitting in. “It just feels like a family here and I am really enjoying it,” she said. “I love working with customers and the ones I have met since I started here have been so nice.”

She is currently enrolled as student in the College of Adult and Professional Programs at Shorter University where she is slated to graduate in December 2017 with a degree in business administration.

Allen previously worked at Charter Communications in the customer service and sales department. She takes the position formerly held by Edward Guzman. Guzman received a promotion and now serves as assistant city clerk.
