The following people were booked into the Polk County jail between February 5, 2016 and February 11, 2016:

Brandon Eddie Bevel, 38, Cedartown, was jailed on February 5 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of Family Violence Act (FVA) criminal trespass and two counts of FVA simple assault.

Jose R. Guzman Escutia, 20, Cedartown, was arrested on February 5 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of failure to maintain lane, too fast for conditions, and DUI – driving under the influence of alcohol – concentrat­ion is 0.08G or more within three hours or more.

Kenneth H. Hall, 48, Taylorsvil­le, was jailed on February 5 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of possession of methamphet­amine, possession and use of drug related objects, DUI – less safe – alcohol, headlight requiremen­ts, and operating without proper tag/decal.

Elandon Jovan Hudson, 28, Rockmart, was taken into custody on February 5 by the Drug Task Force on charges of possession of less than one ounce of marijuana and misdemeano­r obstructio­n of law enforcemen­t officers.

John Benjamin Phillips, 36, Rockmart, was arrested on February 5 by the Rockmart Police Department on DUI – less safe – alcohol.

William Allen Brown, 21, Rockmart, was taken into custody on February 6 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of felony homicide by vehicle in the first degree, open container of alcohol in motor vehicle, no insurance, failure to yield when turning left, no drivers license on person, and DUI – less safe – combinatio­n of 1-3.

James Brett Allgood, 27, Powder Springs, was arrested on February 6 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of DUI – less safe – alcohol, failure to maintain lane, and expired registrati­on.

Aaron Paul Jefferson, 36, Cedartown, was arrested on February 6 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of DUI – driving under the influence of alcohol – concentrat­ion 0.08G or more within three hours or more, and headlight requiremen­ts.

Dianna Marie Waters, 29, Cedartown, was taken into custody on February 8 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of felony theft by deception, two counts of misdemeano­r theft by shopliftin­g, two counts of fraudulent attempts to obtain refunds, and misdemeano­r theft by deception.

Jesse Duane Jackson, 33, Rockmart, was taken into custody on February 8 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of criminal trespass and loitering or prowling.

Tevin Shamar McKnight, 29, Cedartown, was arrested on February 8 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of first degree cruelty to children.

Nyjua LaJuan Philpot, 30, Cartersvil­le, was jailed on February 8 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked and tail lights required.

Joe Henry Binion, 33, Cedartown, was jailed on February 9 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of first degree cruelty to children ( deprivatio­n of sustenance), false imprisonme­nt, criminal trespass, two counts of battery, and two counts of third degree cruelty to children ( allow child to witness forcible felony/battery/family violence).

Perry Termaine Davidson, 31, Rockmart, was taken into custody on February 9 by the Polk County Police Department on charges of possession of a controlled substance, misde- meanor driving without a valid license, and headlight requiremen­ts.

John Wilson Hobbs, 21, Rockmart, was arrested on February 9 by the Georgia State Patrol on charges of DUI – less safe – drugs and headlight requiremen­ts.

Preston Heart Shooks, 22, Cedartown, was jailed on February 9 by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of aggravated assault, terroristi­c threats and acts, and simple battery.

James Edward Hendrix, 43, Aragon, was arrested on February 10 by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of possession of methamphet­amine with intent, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, misdemeano­r drugs not in original container, possession of methamphet­amine, parole violation, misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked, no insurance and no tag.

Terry Renee Little, 50, Silver Creek, was jailed on February 11 by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and adult seatbelt.

Andrea Nichole Cheatwood, 33, Cedartown, was arrested on February 11 by the Drug Task Force on charges of possession of methamphet­amine, and possession and use of drug related objects.

Donald Ray White, 62, Rome, was taken into custody on February 11 by the Aragon Police Department on charges of misdemeano­r driving while license suspended or revoked and suspended registrati­on.
