Local runners take part in in the Bulldog Run 5K race
The Cedartown High School Cross Country team held their Bulldog Run 5K/1 mile fundraiser on Saturday morning, Aug. 13, with most of the cross country team and the competition cheerleaders participating in the event.
“The competition cheerleaders were kind enough to come out and cheer on the runners throughout the course, and helped by passing out water and snacks,” siad Kristen Little, head coach of the Cedartown cross country team.
The overall male winner was Curtis Hollabaugh with a time of 22:49, while the overall female winner was Natoshia Tyquiengo with a time of 34:12. 12 and under female award went to TishAnne McClendon with a time of 47:14. Other times and winners were as follows: 12 and under male winner: Brodie Blackmon timed at 26:43. Age bracket 13-17 winner Hayden Zebeau came in with a time of 38:01.
Age bracket 18-24 winner was Kelsi Little with a time of 37:25. Age bracket 25-29 females started with first place Natoshia Tyquiengo and second place Brandi Ingram with a time of 38:41. Males 2529 winner was Dustin Little with a time of 26:24.
Age bracket 30-39 winner was Matt Foster with a time of 30:04. Age bracket 40-49 females-first place Camille Whitfield(35:35), second place Kellie Blackmon(39:07), and third place Tammy Hughes (40:14). Males 40-49 first place Eric Ellenburg with a time of 29:37 and second place Johnathan Blackmon 38:41.
Age bracket 50-59 females-JoAnne Zebeau 39:13 and second place Susan Zebeau 47:15.
Males 50-59 winner was Joe Zebeau with a time of 31:11. 60 and over winner was Curtis Hollabaugh with an amazing time of 22:49.
The 1 mile race winners were first place Josh Pollard, second place Summer Pollard, and third place Sequoia Pollard.
