Covenant Christian School will be hold­ing a Fall Fes­ti­val on Satur­day, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 321 E. Queen St., Cedar­town. Games, bounce houses, a pet­ting zoon, food, cakes, a silent auc­tion for class themed bas­kets and more will be fea­tured at the an­nual fes­ti­val.

The Jef­fer­son South­ern Cor­po­ra­tion 5K Zom­bie Dash Fun Run is com­ing to Rock­mart on Oct. 29, 2016 from 9 to 11 a.m. The run, be­ing held on the com­pany prop­erty at 1000 Mar­quette Road, will fea­ture a 1K run walk to start at 9 a.m., and the 5K run to start at 9:30 a.m. Par­tic­i­pants will re­ceive a shirt for those who reg­is­ter by Oct. 19. Race packet be­gins at 8 a.m. on race day. Cos­tume con­test, awards for top fin­ish­ers, and more are part of the event.

New Har­mony Bap­tist Church in Cedar­town will be host­ing their Judg­ment House this year ti­tled “Changed” on Oct. 26, 27 and 28 at the church at 951 Prior Sta­tion Road, Cedar­town. Rock­mart Amer­i­can Le­gion Post 12 has an­nounced the fol­low­ing:

New mem­bers ( Le­gion and Aux­il­iary) are in­vited to at­tend the reg­u­lar meet­ing and din­ner at 7 p.m. each sec­ond Tues­day.

The pub­lic is in­vited to all you can eat spaghetti din­ner from 5:30 to 8 p.m. the third Tues­day of each month. The Le­gion Rid­ers gather for a meet­ing and din­ner at 7 p.m. each fourth Tues­day.

The an­nual Hal­loween cos­tume party be­gins at 8 p.m. Fri­day, Oct. 28.

Fam­ily day will be held on Nov. 12 and the an­nual Le­gion Rid­ers steak din­ner is sched­uled on De­cem­ber 10 with a New Year’s Eve Party sched­uled on De­cem­ber 31. The pub­lic is in­vited and tick­ets are avail­able at Post 12.

Bel­lview Bap­tist Church, lo­cated at 2333 N. Bel­lview Road, Rock­mart, will host a fifth Sun­day night singing at 6 p.m. on Sun­day, Oct. 30. Gospel group "Fire­proof" will be per­form­ing in the event for all.

Cel­e­brate Re­cov­ery con­tin­ues to meet in the First Bap­tist Church of Rock­mart, 311 E. Elm St., Mon­day nights with din­ner at 6 p.m. A large group gath­ers at 7 p.m. and small share group at 8:00 p.m.

Mc­Cord’s Cross­roads Home­mak­ers Club will host "Hopewell Cel­e­brates 100 Years", Satur­day, Novem­ber 12 at 10 AM CST/ 11 AM EST, 7290 Co Rd 16, Cen­tre, Ala., 35960.

“Re­vival Fire” is the ti­tle of a pre­sen­ta­tion by Charles G. Gar­rett, which is fea­tured on Charter Chan­nel 181 at 9 p.m. ev­ery Sun­day night. He said this is his 17th year in Polk County.
