Polk resident graduates from University of Georgia
The family of Whitney White Gull edge is pleased to announce her graduation from the University of Georgia with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
She completed her degree in Fall 2016. While working toward her MBA, Gulledge competed in an entrepreneurship contest with 60 fellow students on the University of Georgia’s campus in which participants were re- quired to develop and present a concept and business plan for a new business startup. Whitney took first place in the competition and was awarded a year-long lease at Atlanta Tech Village to pursue the venture.
Gulledge also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shorter University along with degrees from Georgia Highlands and Georgia Northwestern.
She is the daughter of Carolyn Godfrey White and the late Jere Ferguson White, and is employed by Georgia Power Company as a Transmission Compliance Coordinator. Whitney and her husband Dusty reside in Rockmart.
