GDOT to move office

Bartow County Commissioner Steve Taylor revealed another get for the Highland 75 Industrial Park north of Cartersville on Thursday.

Taylor confirmed during a business breakfast in Adairsville that the Georgia Department of Transportation Region 6 headquarters will move from its longtime location on U.S. 41 south of Cartersville to a 5-acre tract at the intersection of Great Valley Parkway and Cass-White Road.

GDOT will get a new facility on a tract that sits adjacent to the Voestalpine metal machining business.
