Voter registration for the upcoming November municipal election is ongoing and ends on Oct. 10, for those who wish to participate in municipal elections on Nov. 7. The Polk County Board of Education is set to meet for their upcoming regular session on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. in the Board of Education meeting room located at the Polk School District Central Office in downtown Cedartown at 612 S. The Cedartown City Commission meets for their work sessions on the first Monday of each month, and then for their regular session the following Monday at 6 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
