Voter registration for the upcoming November municipal election is ongoing and ends on Oct. 10, for those who wish to participate in municipal elections on Nov. 7. The Court Appointed Special Advocate of Haralson and Polk County needs your help today in making sure that foster children have positive influences in their lives and to help the best interests of our community’s youth. The Polk County Board of Education is set to meet for their upcoming regular session on Sept. 12 at 6 p.m. in the Board of Education meeting room located at the Polk School District Central Office in downtown Cedartown at 612 S.
