F.H.F. Hair Design hosting Our House families

The Standard Journal - - LOCAL - From staff reports

Cedartown salon owner Hal Floyd has for years been one of many local business owners who give back to the community, and with an upcoming event his stance on helping those who need it hasn’t changed one bit.

F.H.F. Hair Design is doing their part in Cedartown to help out the Our House Women’s Shelter by providing not just donations, but a fresh look for those who are residents.

Floyd said on Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.., his salon will be holding a special event for clients from the shelter, donating haircuts for the women and children during the morning hours.

“We want to empower them and help make them feel good about themselves,” he said.

Then following the wrap-up of that event, Floyd said his stylists will then resume their regular schedule, and use those proceeds from the rest of the day to make as a donation to the shelter from 1:30 to 7 p.m.

“It is our way of giving back,” Floyd said. The salon will take appointments for those who wish to take part in their afternoon and evening slots and help out the Our House Women’s Shelter in Cedartown.

For more information or to book an appointment, call the salon at 678-901-0643.
