The Atlanta Hawks have requested waivers on reserve guard Isaiah Taylor. Taylor, signed to a two-year contract last October, started nine of his 67 games last season. He averaged 6.6 points and 3.1 assists in 17.4 minutes.
Atlanta United remains the Kings of the Mountain in the Eastern Conference of the MLS, with a 11-4-3 record. They beat Orlando City 4-0 in last Saturday’s match. They play again today at home against Dallas.
The Atlanta Falcons are adding more defensive help to the roster. Former Chiefs Safety Ron Parker has a 1-year deal with the team. He was dropped from Kansas City after five seasons. He played in 80 games and got 318 tackles, nine interceptions and seven sacks last season.
