Duffey Southeast Constructi­on receives AGC Build Georgia Award

Duffey Southeast was honored WKH ¿UVW SODFH DZDUG DW WKH Associated General Contractor­s of Georgia (AGC) Annual Convention on June 9th in Destin, Florida for their recent completion of the Floyd Urgent Care Clinic located in Rome.

The company took home ¿UVW SODFH KRQRUV IRU EHVW representa­tion in the constructi­on industry for exceptiona­l project safety performanc­e, overcoming chalOHQJHV RI D GLI¿FXOW SURMHFW innovation in constructi­on techniques and materials, excellence in project man- agement and scheduling, and dedication to client service and customer care.

The Floyd Urgent Care Clinic was constructe­d during a tight ten month schedule and is located in the parking lot of Floyd’s previous Urgent Care facility which remained operationa­l for the duration of the project.

The new 8,600-square foot healthcare facility had its challenges with an aggressive winter construcWL­RQ VFKHGXOH DQG FRQ¿QHment of constructi­on activities while working in very close proximity to the hospital’s ongoing patient healthFDUH WUDI¿F

Despite the various chal- lenges, the project was delivered safely, on time and within budget without disruption to medical services in the existing Urgent Care.

“This project was an exciting milestone for Duffey Southeast and our team worked tirelessly over ten months to achieve an ontime delivery of the Urgent Care facility.
