A note of two corrections from past issues. First, in covering the death of Mr. Terry Rayburn, we in the first story had a typo which would have potentially confused the readers, and in the second story incorrectly listed the date he went missing in one part of the article, but corrected it in another part. To be clear, Mr. Rayburn was found by his stepfather on Aug. 8, several days after he was reported missing on the weekend of Aug. 3 and Aug. 4. Additionally, his body was found several hundred yards away from his truck.

In a second correction, we’d like to apologize to the Rockmart High School football team, family and fans for a misprint on our part of the names of players on the team in our Pigskin Preview special section released on Aug. 15. We’ll be printing an updated roster in the coming days. We thank our readers for their patience with us here at the paper. - KM
