The following arrests were reported by the Polk County Jail between Friday, December 13 and Thursday, December 19, 2019. Find arrest reports online on weekdays at Polkstandardjournal. com. Holiday closings at the Sheriff’s Office will mean that reports won’t be available on Christmas Day this week.

Hayle Morris, 28, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 13, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of theft by shoplifting, meth possession, and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.

Lawerence Jerome Brand, 54, of Taylorsville, was arrested on Dec. 13, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of theft by shoplifting and marijuana possession.

Justin David Runyon, 26, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 13, 2019, by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of theft by receiving stolen property.

Daniel Jordan Brown, 33, of Lindale, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of meth possession and possession and use of drugrelated objects.

Chasity Sheree Cagle, 39, of Aragon, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2019, by the Aragon Police Department on charges of theft of lost or mislaid property.

Courtney Colston, 28, of Aragon, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of theft by shoplifting.

Johnny Lee Hilliard, 37, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of violation of dwellings, meth possession, meth possession with intent, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, possession and use of drug-related objects, and forgery.

Demetrius Holmes, 38, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2019, by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of aggravated assault, two counts of simple battery, cruelty to children, criminal trespassing, obstructing or hindering persons making an emergency telephone call, terroristic threats and acts, and false imprisonment.

Terri Humphries, 56, of Rome, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of driving with missing or impaired tag lights and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance.

Kevin Dean Jackson, 46, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of theft.

Katie Carolyne Rooks, 26, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of theft by shoplifting.

Daquain Bryon Colvin, 18, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 14, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of obstructing law enforcement officers, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to maintain lane, driving with missing or impaired tag lights, reckless driving, driving without a valid license, and hit and run.

Charles Timothy Myers, 47, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of theft by receiving stolen property.

Daniel Allen Barfield, 34, of Rome, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2019, by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of disorderly conduct.

Perry Lee Barnes, 36, of Rome, was taken into custody on Dec. 15, 2019, by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of crossing state or county guard lines with weapons, intoxicants, or drugs without consent.

Crystal Chelane Braziel, 36, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of open container violation, meth possession, possession and use of drug-related objects, marijuana possession, and improper parking or stopping on the roadway.

Joseph Harrison Dickert, 22, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of meth possession, possession and use of drugrelated objects, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and driving with missing or impaired tag lights.

Calvin Tyler Folsom, 23, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of meth possession, possession and use of drug-related objects, and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies.

Caiylyn Michelle Guest, 26, of Temple, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of theft by shoplifting.

Beverly Dawn Reed, 47, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of meth possession, crossing state or county guard lines with weapons, intoxicants, or drugs without consent, theft by receiving stolen property, and possession and use of drug-related objects.

Javonta Lamar Springer, 18, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of meth possession and possession and use of drugrelated objects.

James Tommy Hopkins, 36, of Buchanan, was arrested on Dec. 16, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of heroin possession, possession and use of drug-related objects, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and possessing drugs outside of their original container.

William Michael Kay, 28, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 16, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of meth possession.

Jeffery Allen Hopkins, 31, of Buchana, was arrested on Dec. 16, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of DUI, driving with missing or impaired tag lights, and possession and use of drug-related objects.

Billy Wayne Pritchard, 33, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 16, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of battery.

Amanda Nicole Stokes, 35, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 16, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of theft by shoplifting.

Jonathan Colby Vaughn, 29, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 16, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of theft by receiving stolen property and criminal use of an article with an altered ID mark.

Antwon Comon Wilson, 57, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 16, 2019, by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of elder abuse.

Ashley Michelle Deems, 32, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 17, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Kenneth Dakota Peace, 20, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 17, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of false imprisonment.

Geremias Vicente, 32, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 17, 2019, by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of driving without a license and holding or supporting a device while driving.

Rodney Candidate, 43, of Tallapoosa, was taken into custody on Dec. 18, 2019, by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on charges of giving a false name, address, or birth date to law enforcement officers, driving with a suspended or revoked license, failure to obey a traffic control device, crack cocaine possession, and possession and use of drug-related objects.

Jason Anthony Smith, 47, of Wesley Chapel, was arrested on Dec. 18, 2019, by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of criminal trespassing.

Chevy Anne Couzzort, 41, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 18, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of battery.

Martavious Dejar Redwine, 18, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 18, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of child molestation and statutory rape.

John Hoyt Brown, 57, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 19, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of possession of a schedule I controlled substance.

Jeffery Jamar Davis, 34, of Aragon, was arrested on Dec. 19, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of battery.

Dustin Carroll Leggett, 22, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 19, 2019, by the Aragon Police Department on charges of obstructing law enforcement officers and harassing communications.

Amanda Leah Couch, 43, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 19, 2019, by the Cedartown Police Department on charges of DUI.

John Phillip Howard, 37, of Cedartown, was arrested on Dec. 19, 2019, by the Polk County Police Department on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, laying drag, improper lane change or usage, reckless driving, and obstructing law enforcement officers.

Devin Charles Moreland, 36, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 19, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of driving with suspended registration, failure to yield for authorized emergency vehicles, tampering with evidence, marijuana possession, and obstructing law enforcement officers.

Jaden Ryan Rice Snell, 24, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 19, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of theft by shoplifting.

Christy Mosley Wilson, 38, of Rockmart, was arrested on Dec. 19, 2019, by the Rockmart Police Department on charges of possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
