Locals earn spring term honors from Univ. of Alabama

Ethan Connor Goolsby, 20, of Tallapoosa, was arrested on July 9, 2020 by the Polk County Police on charges of felony sexual trafficking, criminal solicitation, criminal attempt to commit a felony, enticing a child for indecent purposes, computer pornography violation, and felony employing/using a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for a visual medium.
Connie Elaine Harris, 57, of Rockmart, was arrested on July 9, 2020 by the Polk County Police on charges of simple assault and criminal trespass.
Maggie Marie Wheeler, 33, of Rockmart, was arrested on July 9, 2020 by the Cedartown Police on charges of possession of marijuana, possession and use of drug related objects, and sale or possession of dangerous drugs.
Nathan Wayne May, 52, of Rockmart, was arrested on July 8, 2020 by the Rockmart Police on charges of battery and obstructing an emergency telephone call.
Steven Thomas Pruitt, 27, of Dallas, was arrested on July 8, 2020 by the Rockmart Police on charges of driving while under the influence, failure to maintain lane, failure to notify owner upon striking a fixed object, and driving too fast for conditions.
Richard Ance Bailey, 40, of Cedartown, was arrested on July 7, 2020 by the Cedartown Police on charges of second degree felony burglary, second degree criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, and obstructing law enforcement officers.
Ladon Sheriko Ware, 35, of Cedartown, was arrested on July 7, 2020 by the Cedartown Police on charges of criminal trespass, possession of methamphetamine, and crossing state/county lines with weapons, intoxicants, or drugs without consent.
Randy Thomas Bradford, 41, of Rockmart, was arrested on July 6, 2020 by the Rockmart Police on a charge of battery.
Candus N. Bradley, 30, of Cedartown, was arrested on July 6, 2020 by the Cedartown Police on charges of possession and use of drug related objects, improperly displayed tag, and a seat belt violation.
Barry Thomas Ingram, 43, of Rockmart, was arrested on July 6, 2020 by the Rockmart Police on charges of battery, obstructing law enforcement officers, terroristic threats and acts, reckless conduct, and simple battery against law enforcement officer.
Sally Alana Spann, 41, of Cedartown, was arrested on July 6, 2020 by the Cedartown Police on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession and use of drug related objects, and obstructing law enforcement officers.
Ronald Campbell, 40, of Cedartown, was arrested on July 2, 2020 by the Polk County Police on a charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Tyler Clark, 21, of Rockmart, was arrested on July 2, 2020 by the Polk County Police on charges of second degree felony burglary, two counts of second degree criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, obstruction of law enforcement officers, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, loitering or prowling, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
Jennifer Williams Freison, 28, of Cedartown, was arrested on July 2, 2020 by the Cedartown Police on charges of possession of methamphetamine, simple battery, and criminal trespass.
Charles Timothy Myers, 48, of Cedartown, was arrested on July 5, 2020 by the Polk County Police on charges of two counts of felony identity theft fraud, financial transaction card fraud, and elder abuse.
John Perez, 21, of Rockmart, was arrested on July 2, 2020 by the Rockmart Police on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession and use of drug related objects, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and a seat belt violation.
Aspen Smith, 19, of Temple, was arrested on July 2, 2020 by the Polk County Police on charges of second degree felony burglary, second degree criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, obstruction of law enforcement officers, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, loitering or prowling, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
Tianna Jyneisheya Strickland, 21, of Rome, was arrested on July 3, 2020 by the Aragon Police on charges of possession of marijuana, no insurance, driving with a suspended or revoked license, expired registration, and suspended registration.
Mason Weeks, 19, of Dallas, was arrested on July 2, 2020 by the Polk County Police on charges of second degree felony burglary, second degree criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, possession of tools for the commission of a crime, loitering or prowling, and conspiracy to commit a felony.
Daniel Brian White, 36, of Rockmart, was arrested on July 5, 2020 by the Rockmart Police on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and possession of marijuana.
A group of Polk County residents enrolled at the University of Alabama during the 2020 spring semester were recently named to the school’s Dean’s List or President’s List.
A student that makes the Dean’s List finishes the semester with an academic record of 3.5 or above. The President’s List is for students who finish with an academic record of 4.0, or the equivalent of all A’s.
