NOTICE OF CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST
Notice is hereby given that Tommy Sanders has submitted a petition for conditional use of property located at SR 101, lying and being in the 18th District and 719 Land Lots of Polk County, Georgia. The property is currently zoned C-3. The applicant has requested that a conditional use be granted to allow for a fuel center. This notice is published pursuant to the requirements of the Georgia Zoning Procedures Act, O.C.G.A. §36-66-1, et. seq. The clerk shall maintain on file a copy of a plat and plans for the property, for review by interested members of the public. The Rockmart City Council will hold a public hearing at the next regular scheduled council meeting on Tuesday, August 17th 2021 at 7:00 p.m., in the council chambers of the Rockmart Municipal Building, 316 North Piedmont, Rockmart, Georgia 30153, to receive comments for or against the proposed conditional use of this property.

All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Polk County, Georgia, in Land Lot 719 of the 18th District, 3rd Section, containing approximately 1.96 acres and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin located at the Southeast comer of the intersection at the right of way to Brock Road and State Route 101; thence proceeding South 33 degrees 54 minutes East along the East right of way of State Route 101 a distance of 304.80 feet to an iron pin; thence proceeding North 5 5 degrees 3 3 minutes East a distance of 136.03 feet to an iron pin; thence proceeding North 10 degrees 0 minutes East a distance of 288.12 feet to an iron pin; thence proceeding North 80 degrees 0 minutes West a distance of 249.50 feet to an iron pin located on the East right of way of Brock Road; thence proceeding South 29 degrees 48 minutes West a distance of 174.05 feet along the East right of way of Brock Road to the point of beginning.
