WILSON, Ted Merlin

Mr. Ted Merlin Wilson, age 81 of Snellville, passed away Monday, August 23, 2021.

He was born April 10, 1940 in College Park, son of the late Allan Wilson and the late Willie Edna Hicks Wilson. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a former member of the Inman Park United Methodist Church of Atlanta. Mr. Wilson was a Certified Public Accountant having worked for Chi Phi Fraternity.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Wilson.

Survivors included his wife, Rachel Howe Wilson of Snellville; daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Bob Mann of Gwinnett County; son, Teddy Allan Wilson of Gainesville; and four grandchildren, Ethan Mann, Alexandria Mann, Keira Mann and Adam “Bear” Wilson.

A private memorial graveside and inurnment service for Mr. Wilson was held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Rose Hill Cemetery of Rockmart.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Atlanta Humane Society, 981 Howell Mill Rd., NW, Atlanta GA 30318 in memory of Mr. Wilson.
