Estate Treasures, an upscale resale shop in Chester, recently raised $2,300 for Compass Regional Hospice’s capital campaign, “Our Journey, Together,” which is taking place now. The money was raised during a special sale held at the store in June. Estate Treasures is run solely through volunteer leadership, and the shop, an affiliate of Compass Regional Hospice, has been raising money for the organization for the past 25 years. Recently, Estate Treasures’ volunteers presented a check to Compass Regional Hospice. The proceeds from the June sale will benefit Compass Regional Hospice’s capital campaign, which will include funding for critical renovations and an expansion to the Hospice Center and the Hope and Healing Center, both at 255 Comet Drive, Centreville. The hospice center will expand from a six-bed facility to a 10-bed facility. Renovations are scheduled to begin later this summer.
