Shore Regional Health Golf Tourney raises $93K for ICU
EASTON — The 2018 UM Shore Regional Health Golf Tournament held on Sept. 17 at the Talbot Country Club in Easton netted $93,249 to benefit the Intensive Care Unit at University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton.
“We would like to thank everyone for their continued support of our annual golf tournament,” said F. Graham Lee, vice president for philanthropy. “Through the years because of you, the Memorial Hospital Foundation has been able to provide much needed funds to help improve the lives of patients with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, renovations and education.”
Offered by UM Memorial Hospital Foundation, the golf tournament consisted of 32 foursomes that received a Titleist Vokey Wedge as their thank you gifts, enjoyed lunch on the course and a prizes and awards reception.
“Strong sponsorship support received from more than 43 individuals and businesses played a vital role in the success of the event,” a press release stated.
