Paul A. Fuld Jr.
STEVENSVILLE — Paul A. Fuld Jr. of Stevensville, Md., passed away on Dec. 4, 2018. He was 90.
Born on April 28, 1928, in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of the late Paul A. and Mildred B. Fuld. He worked as a supervisor for Sparks Oil and for Alger Oil Co., and also drove a school bus for Queen Anne’s County. In retirement, he worked for Sisk Mailing for a few years.
Paul was a life member of the Kent Island Volunteer Fire Department and past chief. He was inducted into the Firefighter Hall of Fame in 2003. Paul was also a past member of the K.I. Yacht Club, past member of the K.I. Lions Club, and also served with the 29th division of the Maryland National Guard, dchool bus contractors and a driver for QA County, and a member of Old Christ Church.
Paul got a lot of pleasure out of his pet dogs, Whiskey, Benji and Rusty. He loved every one of them. They were a big part of his life. Paul also never called anyone by name. He called them friend, because that’s what he thought of everyone. He had many friends on Kent Island and was proud to know them all. He also enjoyed working on his pickup truck.
Paul is survived by two sons, Paul W. Fuld, Brian Fuld; sisters, Mildred Edwards, Muriel Williams; and other members of the family.
A funeral service will be held noon Friday, Dec. 7, at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home P.A. in Chester, Md. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to noon. Burial will follow the funeral service in Stevensville Cemetery in Stevensville, Md.
