STEVENSVILLE — Paul A. Fuld Jr. of Stevensville, Md., passed away on Dec. 4, 2018. He was 90.

Born on April 28, 1928, in Bal­ti­more, Md., he was the son of the late Paul A. and Mil­dred B. Fuld. He worked as a supervisor for Sparks Oil and for Al­ger Oil Co., and also drove a school bus for Queen Anne’s County. In re­tire­ment, he worked for Sisk Mail­ing for a few years.

Paul was a life mem­ber of the Kent Is­land Vol­un­teer Fire De­part­ment and past chief. He was in­ducted into the Fire­fighter Hall of Fame in 2003. Paul was also a past mem­ber of the K.I. Yacht Club, past mem­ber of the K.I. Lions Club, and also served with the 29th di­vi­sion of the Mary­land Na­tional Guard, dchool bus con­trac­tors and a driver for QA County, and a mem­ber of Old Christ Church.

Paul got a lot of plea­sure out of his pet dogs, Whiskey, Benji and Rusty. He loved every one of them. They were a big part of his life. Paul also never called any­one by name. He called them friend, be­cause that’s what he thought of ev­ery­one. He had many friends on Kent Is­land and was proud to know them all. He also en­joyed work­ing on his pickup truck.

Paul is sur­vived by two sons, Paul W. Fuld, Brian Fuld; sis­ters, Mil­dred Ed­wards, Muriel Wil­liams; and other mem­bers of the fam­ily.

A fu­neral ser­vice will be held noon Fri­day, Dec. 7, at Fel­lows, Helfen­bein & New­nam Fu­neral Home P.A. in Ch­ester, Md. Fam­ily and friends may visit at the fu­neral home from 10 a.m. to noon. Burial will fol­low the fu­neral ser­vice in Stevensville Ceme­tery in Stevensville, Md.
