Little boy who loves school needs new clothes

The Star Democrat - - FRONT PAGE -

Ronaldo is a bright little boy who loves kindergarten. He works hard to make friends, follows all the rules and is volunteering constantly to help his teachers.

His teachers say he is their favorite student.

Ronaldo is anxious to practice his letters and try to read.

He gets to talk and play with friends at lunch and recess. He also loves painting, drawing and coloring when his class gets to do artistic things.

At the end of the day, he is sad to go home, where he is the only child.

As he says goodbye, he always says he can’t wait to come back to school, his teachers report.

Ronaldo’s father comes home every day dog tired after long hours as a farm laborer. It usually is dark when he gets home, and it’s past Ronaldo’s bedtime.

His mother makes what money she can babysitting for others who work.

Ronaldo’s parents say they need help to provide some gifts for him at Christmas.

He needs new clothes and they are anxious for Ronaldo to be able to find a tree with some toys under it on Christmas morning.
