Easton Police Department welcomes five new officers
EASTON — Just days after graduating from the Eastern Shore Criminal Justice Academy, five new officers were welcomed to the Easton Police Department at the Easton Town Council meeting Monday evening.
The new officers completed more than 800 hours of training over six months and received instruction in law, patrol tactics, criminal investigations, emergency medical care, crisis intervention, crime prevention, prisoner processing and security, courtroom preparation and testimony, police firearms training and qualification, and more.
The five new patrolmen were recognized at a formal graduation ceremony on Dec. 17 and will begin the Easton Police Department’s 300 hour field training program.
