Barry and Iris (Grant Gustin and Can­dice Pat­ton) are gravely con­cerned when Nora West-allen (guest star Jes­sica Parker-kennedy) — their daugh­ter in a fu­ture time­line — sud­denly ap­pears in their home in “Nora,” an en­core of the Sea­son 5 pre­miere. The cou­ple knows it’s im­per­a­tive to their con­tem­po­rary world that they fig­ure out how to re­turn Nora to the fu­ture be­fore she can do some­thing that will fur­ther com­pli­cate the flow of his­tory, but that will take a joint ef­fort by Team Flash.

John Dick­er­son, Gayle King and No­rah O’don­nell are among the CBS cor­re­spon­dents an­chor­ing their net­work’s cov­er­age of the 2018 midterm elec­tions, which are widely be­ing seen as a ref­er­en­dum on the per­for­mance of some­one who isn’t even on the bal­lot: Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump, whose po­lar­iz­ing ad­min­is­tra­tion has dra­mat­i­cally re­shaped the Repub­li­can Party and fiercely en­er­gized push­back from Democrats. Ac­cord­ingly, view­ers also will find elec­tion cov­er­age on NBC, ABC and PBS, as well as the ma­jor cable news out­lets.

An episode called “Cuervo/tz’ikb’uul” wraps up Sea­son 1 of this “Sons of Anar­chy” spinoff, that finds the mem­bers of the prin­ci­pal mo­tor­cy­cle club re­lieved and happy that they have rea­son to cel­e­brate. Sev­eral big changes in the wind leave their fu­ture in doubt, how­ever. For­tu­nately, fans of this show, which has got­ten mixed to fa­vor­able re­views, are not in any such quandary: FX has picked up this drama for a sec­ond sea­son. J.D. Pardo, Clay­ton Car­de­nas, Ed­ward James Ol­mos, and Sarah Bol­ger star.
