8 p.m. on LIFE
After her father suffers a fatal heart attack, Julie Price returns home to her mother, Gail, after two years of estrangement. Gail’s behavior is unpredictable and often bizarre, and she appears to have fallen irretrievably under the influence of Warren, a Svengali-like criminal who is playing the role of concerned boyfriend, while scheming to get his hands on Gail’s considerable fortune. Soon Julie and Warren are engaged in a high-stakes and potentially deadly game of cat-and-mouse. Lindsay Hartley, Kayla Wallace and Jefferson Brown star.
Amanda to the Rescue: Picks of the Litter
8:01 p.m. on ANIMAL
As a breed, poodles have a reputation for being pampered, but don’t tell that to Mr. Rags, a senior yet still playful poodle who never has had a human family of his own. Worse, at the moment he’s nursing a broken leg. Never fear, however, Amanda is perfectly willing to make an international trip to make this dog one of her “Second Chance Seniors,” the title of this new episode. She also brings back Mcgee, a blind dog who has been waiting six-plus years for a forever home.

Concluding a two-part episode that began last week, the new “Mineral Springs Hotel” finds Zak, Aaron, Jay and Billy still in Alton, Ill., which is famous — or infamous, depending on your perspective — for being one of the most haunted towns in America. Their focus this time is on exploring a 1914 hotel where multiple deaths have occurred over the years. Zak suspects there’s a demonic entity in residence there that’s keep the souls lost in those assorted tragedies trapped in the building.
