Gon­zaga won its first true road game with the help of dou­ble-dou­bles from Bran­don Clarke (27 points and 10 re­bounds) and Rui Hachimura (22 and 11).

No. 5 Nevada 73, USC 61: Jor­dan Caro­line scored 22 points, and the Wolf Pack took con­trol with a dom­i­nant sec­ond half to beat the Tro­jans (5-3) in Los An­ge­les and equal their 8-0 start from last sea­son. Nevada scored the first nine points of the sec­ond half and had a 31-11 run in the teams’ first meet­ing since 1976.
