AN­DRE LEVON “DRE” WHITE for­mally of Den­ver, CO, passed away Mon­day, De­cem­ber 31,2018 at the ten­der age of 62. An­dre was born in Wash­ing­ton DC, on April 2, 1956 to He­len Easter­ling and the late Otis L. White. He was a grad­u­ate of Roo­sevelt Jr. High School, Roo­sevelt, NY. Soon af­ter, Dre joined the Air-force where he served for four years. An­dre was also em­ployed with Hertz Rental Com­pany for eleven years. In 1986, he and his wife trained and be­came one of the first hus­band and wife team truck driv­ers. He re­tired in 1992 and later moved his fam­ily to Gulfport, Mis­sis­sippi in Oc­to­ber 1998.

An­dre was a man of many tal­ents which in­cluded: a love for fine foods, fish­ing, swim­ming, chess, and movie night with his fam­ily. He en­joyed watch­ing the Bronco’s, teach­ing his­tory, men­tor­ing the youth, and spend­ing time with his fam­ily. He of­ten en­joyed stim­u­lat­ing con­ver­sa­tion, danc­ing, and singing to his wife. He was an idea en­thu­si­ast and mo­ti­va­tor –he loved any­thing that would make him money. He held strong val­ues and morals. He was a beloved hus­band, fa­ther, brother, grand­fa­ther, and friend who loved his fam­ily, friends and en­ter­tain­ment. He will be deeply missed by his mother, wife, fam­ily, friends, and all who knew him. Fu­neral Ser­vice, 11:00 AM Saturday, Jan­uary 12, 2019, Lock­ett Wil­liams Memo­rial Chapel, 2018 31st.
