- By Rick Sobey

Two people were arrested last week after police busted up a lab in a North Attleboro home where meth was allegedly being cooked, according to Massachusetts State Police.

Jaime Nickerson, 39, and Shannon Daley, 38, were both arrested Wednesday and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a Class B narcotic, and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

The months-long investigation was led by Trooper Cory Medeiros and the State Police Clandestine Lab Enforcement Team.

A warrant was executed with assistance from other State Police units, the state Department of Fire Services, the North Attleboro police and fire departments, and other law enforcement agencies.

Once inside the house, police say, they found a clandestine methamphetamine lab and equipment where police allege methamphetamine was being cooked. Troopers and officers also found what they suspect is completed methamphetamine and needles used to inject the drugs.

During their search of the residence, police located and seized a plastic container with a clear liquid of suspected methamphetamine, a coffee filter containing a white powder that field tested positive for methamphetamine, a liquid sample from a onepot methamphetamine lab and a plastic cup containing a white residue.

Police also found other items and materials consistent with those used in the production of methamphetamine.

Nickerson and Daley were arraigned in Attleboro District Court.
