Art gallery founders to present in lecture series

LOWELL » Western Avenue Studios will host the founders of Haverhill art gallery The Switchboar­d on Feb. 1 as part of its ongoing lecture series. Hailey Moschella and Sarah Lovasco will discuss developing and running The Switchboar­d, which they founded in 2017.

Westford Academy Theater Arts presenting upcoming thriller

WESTFORD » Westford Academy Theater Arts presents “The 39 Steps,” adapted by Patrick Barlow and directed by Luke Jorgensen, on Jan. 30, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the Westford Academy Performing

Arts Center.

In “The 39 Steps,” a man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she’s a spy.

Soon, a mysterious organizati­on called “The 39 Steps” is hot on the man’s trail in a nationwide manhunt.

Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for students and seniors. “Student Night” is Thursday, Jan. 30. All student tickets are $5 that night.

General admission tickets can be purchased

at the door.

Annual Heritage Festival coming to Chelmsford

CHELMSFORD » Harrington Elementary School’s seventh annual Heritage Festival is happening Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The festival, hosted by the Harrington Parent Teacher Organizati­on, is expected to be at 120 Richardson Road in North Chelmsford.

The purpose of the festival is to celebrate the national and internatio­nal customs of the school community through music, dance, refreshmen­ts, games and more.

It is open to Harrington school families and will feature Scottish dancers, Tae Kwon Doe, bagpipe performanc­es, Layaa Indian Dance School performanc­es and more.

Refreshmen­ts and recipes from local restaurant­s will be provided.

Snow date if school is canceled that day is Feb. 4.
