DEDHAM - Noralee Martin Barbieri, 76, died on January 31, 2023 at The Linden at Dedham. A longtime resident of Tewksbury, Noralee had made her home in Dedham to be nearby her family since 2019.

Born in Lowell, Massachuse­tts on October 14, 1946, Noralee was the daughter of Leo V Martin and Rita J (Murphy) Martin. As salutatori­an of the Dracut High School class of 1964, Noralee was the recipient of several scholarshi­ps from the Dracut Scholarshi­p Foundation. She received her bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College in 1968 and returned to teach at Dracut High School where she was a respected and spirited teacher for forty-five years. She was a committed volunteer, serving on the board of Saints Memorial Hospital, and D’youville Life and Wellness Community and coordinati­ng the Daffodil Days Drive for the American Cancer Society at Dracut High School for many years.

Noralee was preceded in death by her loving parents Leo V. and Rita J (Murphy) Martin. She is survived by her sister Valerie Martin and her brother-in-law David R Hagemeyer of Boston, and beloved nephews Rory Martin-hagemeyer of New Rochelle, NY and Ryan Martin-hagemeyer of Boston.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT, on Sunday February 5th from 1-4pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February

6th at 10 o’clock at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, 115 Wheeler Rd., DRACUT. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, LOWELL.
