LOWELL - Judith A. “Judy” (Mccluskey)

Flood, 77, of Lowell, Massachuse­tts, passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 8, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife of the late James W. “Jimmy” Flood, who died in 2018. Born in Chelsea, MA, June 9, 1945, the daughter of the late William J. and the late Joan (Dolan) Mccluskey. She attended Matignon High School (class of 1962), Newton College of the Sacred Heart (class of 1966), and later completed a Master’s degree in psychology at Cambridge College. Prior to her retirement, Judy worked as a Guidance Counselor in the Lowell Public School System and was the Founder and Past President of the Spindle City Garden Club of Lowell. Devoted to her family and her faith, she was a longtime communican­t of the Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell and the Monastery of St. Clare in Andover. Judy is survived by four children: James W. Flood III and his wife Alanna of Lowell, MA, Catherine J. Flood and her husband Christophe­r Huse of New Hampshire, William P. Flood of Lowell,

MA, and Thomas F. Flood of Boston, MA; two grandchild­ren Patrick and Ainsley Flood of Lowell, MA; four siblings Richard Mccluskey and his wife Wendy of Cambridge, MA, Maryliz Mccluskey of Denver, CO, James Mccluskey and his wife Christine of Holden, MA, and Joanne Mccluskey of CA; She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Funeral Mass on Thursday,
