Visitations from heaven are very real and normal

DEAR BONNIE >> While watching my four-year-old granddaughter play in her room, I noticed her talking to someone, although no one was there. She seemed to be having a whole conversation with someone. Could she really be seeing someone not in the living but maybe in heaven? She did not look afraid but rather like she was enjoying the connection. Should I ask her questions about her playtime and who she seems to be talking to? — Danielle

DEAR DANIELLE >> Children often can see people and animals, even angels, in the spirit world when they are young; it seems so much easier for them because they have just come from heaven, and their communication with the divine is still open. Often when I am giving a reading, a grandparent will step in and ask me to tell my client that it is me who is talking and playing tea at playtime with my grandchild; please do not be afraid it’s just me.

Children from a young age will often look at pictures of loved ones that have passed hanging on walls or placed throughout the house, and they will recognize them. They can be drawn to statues of angels and shout with glee upon seeing them.

Our loved ones are also so excited about the birth of children in the family. Children are a blessing, and your loved ones are just as excited as you to see them joining the family.

There are times when a loved one in heaven tells me to relay to my client that they know they are sad because of the loss they feel with their departure, but soon a child will be born to bring much joy into the family. I always feel they are giving the family a heads up on the new arrival but also bringing hope to a family that might need that extra love in their life.

So if your child is having a happy conversation with someone in heaven or enjoying playtime with someone, it’s okay to ask questions; just be openminded so you don’t end up pushing their intuitive mind into thinking something is wrong, and they cannot tell you about it.
