WILMINGTON - FOREST, Raymond George Of Wilmington, May 26, 2023. Husband and best friend of Jane (Thomas) Forest. Loving father of Michele Stump and her husband, Joe of Medford, Rebecca Forest and her husband, Dave Bulley of Turners Falls, and Russell Forest and his wife, Diane of Tewksbury. Adoring brother to the late Ida Pearce and her late husband Hal. Gramps to Thomas and Andrea Forest, Uriah Forestbulley and Jenessa Talarico, Sarah Forest and Dylan Langone, Summer Forest-bulley and Katie Clark, Benjamin Forest and Ashley Figucia, and Joseph Forest. Great grandfather to Bentley Langone. Dear friend, neighbor and tennis partner to John Braciska. He is also survived by cherished aunt Peggy Woodman and her family and his nieces and nephews.
Ray was a graduated of Oxford High School and Northeastern University following honorable discharge from the United States Airforce in 1958. He worked as an electrical engineer until 1971, when he opened Forest-conant Realty, eventually Realty World Forest-conant. He served in the Eastern Middlesex Board of Realtors and the
Mass Association of Realtors in many capacities. Ray most enjoyed mentoring new brokers into the profession. He was also the president of the Chamber of Commerce in Wilmington, served on the Wilmington Affordable Housing and founded the Wilmington Tennis Club. In additon to his love of tennis and then golf, Ray took up pickleball in his 80’s at the Lowell YMCA and gained some wonderful friends who were dear to him.
