Fire damages building Sunday

A fire in Jurupa Valley early Sunday morning damaged a commercial building, fire officials said.

The fire was reported at around 12:37 a.m. at 5378 Mission Boulevard in the Rubidoux area of Jurupa Valley, according to CalFire/Riverside County Fire Department. A battalion chief at the scene said the fire started outside the business, then spread to the building, which was burning when firefighters arrived.

The fire was quickly contained. No other buildings were damaged. And no injuries were reported.

Footage from the scene showed a small business with an attached car lot where vans and an ambulance were parked.

Fire officials haven’t said if any of the vehicles were damaged.

Officials did not yet know what caused the fire.
