JOSEPH SOTO

On Saturday, February 20, 2021 our father took his last breath on Earth and his first breath in heaven. He endured a lot in his last four weeks of life as he battled Covid. Joseph was employed by the CNUSD since 1970, retired in 2007 and returned to work part time in their Home and Hospital Program. He loved being an educator and encouraged countless students during his tenure.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Palma Soto and her children, Beatriz Marquez, Karina Cardenas, Rocio Martinez, Daniel Palma, David Zarate and Sandra Zarate. His children with his first wife Dolores Manriquez, his son, Sonny Soto, and his wife Viola, their children, Diego, Sophia, Arianna and Isabella Soto and his daughter, Maria Tinker, and her husband Tom, their children, Hannah, Jacob, Caleb and Matthias Tinker. Preceded in death by his second wife Silvia Soto and his parents Joseph and Ruth Soto. He is also survived by his siblings, Priscilla Santos, Teresa Melendrez, Olivia S. Cortez, Ernie Soto and Ruby Reyes, as well as many nieces and nephews. He leaves a huge void in many hearts and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
