SALLY L. CRIDER

Sally L. Crider, of Riverside, California, passed away on March 4, 2021 @ 5pm in her home with family around her. She was born May 31, 1934 in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late Edward and Margarite Affholter. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Paul C. Crider, her brother William Affholter and her oldest daughter Kim Nielson (Ron). She is survived by her children Paula Zimmerman (Glenn), Michael Crider (Melody), Gregg Crider (Andrea) and Jennifer Olvera (Elias), 9 grandchildren with 9 great grandchildren with more on the way. Her family moved to California when she was 14, she graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario, CA, went to nursing school in Orange, CA and became a Registered Nurse. She worked for many years taking care of elderly patients and those with Adult Developmental Disabilities in group homes. She retired from Independent Options in 2000. Her private life revolved around her children and grandchildren and loved to be included in their outings to shop or visit the many wineries and microbreweries in the area. She also loved her trips to the casinos. Funeral services will be private, and she will be buried with her husband Paul at Riverside National Cemetery. A celebration of her life will follow at her daughter’s house at 11346 Warmington St., Riverside, CA. on Thursday, April 15th from 3:30 to 6 pm.
