Crazy Boss Big Discount store will replace former Kmart

A discount store known for reselling overstock merchandise from retailers including Target is coming to a former Kmart in Fontana.

Crazy Boss Big Discount Store will open its third Inland Empire store at the Vineyard Valley Center, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners. Two other stores are open in San Bernardino. Five more are in Texas.

Crazy Boss sells a variety of items starting at $1 including clothing, shoes, beauty products, toys and home décor.

Photos of the store from Yelp reviewers in San Bernardino show a variety of items familiar to bargain shoppers, like the popular Cat & Jack children’s apparel line sold at Target. Also spotted by Yelpers was furniture, plenty of clothes, aisles of shoes and household accessories such as rugs and lamps.

But buyer beware: Signage tells customers that all sales are final.

The retailer has leased a 103,157-square-foot anchor space at the retail center on Valley Boulevard. The store is expected to open sometime this fall.

Other tenants in the center include Food 4 Less, Big Lots and dd’s Discounts.
