New restaurant­s open in Upland, San Bernardino, Chino Hills, Rialto

Kahramana Restaurant, which specialize­s in Iraqi cuisine and features a hookah lounge, has opened in Upland.

The restaurant, at 345 W. Foothill Blvd., formerly housed a series of genericall­ynamed Chinese buffets— Cute Panda Buffet, Grand Buffet, Ocean Buffet, Garden Buffet and Hibachi Grill Buffet among them.

Kahramana’s hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Now open

San Bernardino’s third Panda Express has opened.

The highly-visible downtown location is at 454

N. H St., adjacent to the 215 Freeway at the Fifth Street offramp and directly across the street from the downtown In-NOut Burger.

Hours are 10 a.m.9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Septembers again

Septembers Taproom & Eatery has opened its third location.

The new location, 15912 Pomona Rincon Road, Suite 130, Chino Hills, follows locations in Rancho Cucamonga and Rialto.

Hours are 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday; 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday; 11 a.m.10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; 11 a.m.-midnight Friday; and 9 a.m.-midnight Saturday.

The location will be closed Christmas Day.

Sinaloan sushi

Emporio Sushi & Mariscos’ Fontana location has opened.

The seafood restaurant is at 9765 Sierra Ave. Unit K.

It’s the first Inland Empire location for the chain, which also has locations in Downey and Orange.

Current hours are 11 a.m.-9 p.m. daily.

Mas tacos

Palo Fierro Tacos, Carnitas y Mariscos has opened in Rancho Cucamonga.

The restaurant specialize­s in Sonoran cuisine, but also serves burgers and breakfast items.

It’s at 9670 Haven Ave., Suite 101, a spot that once housed a Farmer Boys.

Hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.

Join our club

Solaris Beer & Blending in Murrieta has opened membership for its founding members club.

Tusk Club members receive a dozen 500 milliliter bottles, with six of them being exclusive to the club.

They also get access to members-only beers and merchandis­e, as well as 15% off all in-house purchases.

Members also get tickets to two private parties and a vote on adjuncts — ingredient­s beyond malted barley, water, yeast, and hops — for a single barrel release.

Cost is $275 annually and 50 membership­s are available.

Sweet charity

Lazy Dog is helping raise funds to build real houses by selling gingerbrea­d ones.

The chain is selling gingerbrea­d house kits to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity.

Each kit ($6.95) includes edible gingerbrea­d walls and roof pieces, icing to hold it together and an assortment of candies for decorating.

All of the net proceeds ($2.12 per kit) will go to the organizati­on.

Kits are available through Dec. 31 while supplies last.

Inland Empire Lazy Dog locations include Rancho Cucamonga, Montclair, Temecula and Corona.

Coming soon

There are still a handful of Inland Empire restaurant­s that closed during the pandemic and have yet to reopen, and last week, we heard that one of them is finally reopening.

Hamburger Mary’s in Ontario has been closed for at least 15 months, but is planning to reopen soon.

The restaurant made the announceme­nt via Instagram.

Hamburger Mary’s is at 3550 E. Porsche Way, Ontario.
