OFFICES: Most federal, state, county and city offices will be closed or will close early today. All government offices will be closed Saturday. Most Redlands city offices and City Hall are closed and will reopen Jan. 3. MAIL DELIVERY: Mail will be delivered today; there will be no delivery Saturday.
FINANCIAL
INSTITUTIONS: Most banks, savings and loans, and credit unions will be open today but closing early. All financial institutions will be closed Saturday. STORES: Most will be open today but closing early. Most stores will be closed Saturday.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
Riverside Transit Agency, Dial-A-Ride will run on a regular schedule today. Buses will not operate Saturday and will resume a regular schedule Sunday. Administrative offices will be closed on Saturday. Customer Information Center will be open today from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closed on Saturday. Omnitrans buses will run on a regular schedule today. Buses will not operate on Saturday and will resume a regular schedule Sunday. Customer service center will be open today but closed on Saturday. Administrative offices will be closed today and Saturday. Foothill Transit will run according to the weekend or Sunday service schedules only. Foothill Transit store holiday schedules vary by location, day and year. Metrolink will operate on a Sunday schedule today/ The $10 holiday discount will be available for purchase on this day and is valid system-wide travel. The Sunday schedule includes service on the Antelope Valley, San Bernardino, Orange County, 91/Perris Valley and Inland Empire-Orange County lines. Metrolink trains will not operate on the Ventura County Line or the Riverside Line. Regular weekend day service will resume Saturday. Regular weekday service will resume Monday. Amtrak’s Rail 2Rail program will be suspended through Monday. During this time, Amtrak will not accept Metrolink Monthly Passes on Pacific Surfliner trains between the Ventura-East and Oceanside stations. The Rail 2Rail program will resume Tuesday. The blackout dates do not affect shared service on Amtrak Pacific Surfliner trains 761, 770, 777and 784 on the Ventura County Line. LIBRARIES: Riverside County libraries will be closed Saturday and Sunday. San Bernardino County libraries are closed Saturday and Sunday. The A.K. Smiley Public Library in Redlands will be closed today through Monday.
SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES:
Schools will not be in session. TRASH PICKUP: Service will not be affected for cities of Riverside and Redlands Solid Waste Trash & Recycling Services, Burrtec, Waste Management of the Inland Empire and CR&R. Riverside County and San Bernardino County landfills will be closed on Saturday.
