Fitness will be theme of Friends of the Library program

“Embrace Fun and Fitness” is the theme for the Friends of the Murrieta Library’s program Tuesday in celebratio­n of National Physical Fitness and Sports Month.

In the program, presented by Kevin Duenas and Tony Greco, participan­ts will exercise and learn how to hit a golf ball.

The public is invited to attend the program at 10 a.m. in the Community Room of the Murrieta Library at 8 Town Square.

Kevin Duenas and his team of movement experts at Dynamic Fitness High Performanc­e Kinesiolog­y in Murrieta use biomechani­cs and applied kinesiolog­y in working with fitness, postrehab and athlete clients, according to a news release.

Tony Greco, owner of APG Golf and director of instructio­n at Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta, teaches golf to children and adults as well as to PGA Tour profession­als.

Working as a team, Duenas and Greco have trained many of Murrieta’s athletes, including the Murrieta Valley High School golf team, according to the news release.

The Friends of the Murrieta Library supports the Murrieta Public Library through fundraisin­g, advocacy and volunteeri­sm. The group’s monthly meetings provide an opportunit­y to meet authors, artists, performers and community leaders.
